Steven Tucker, M.D. is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with clinical interests in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. He manages patients with numerous conditions including cataracts, refractive issues including astigmatism, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and more.
He attended Penn State University and received a Bachelor of Science, graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors, served as College Marshal for the Eberly College of Science, and was awarded Phi Beta Kappa. After receiving a Doctor of Medicine Degree from Penn State College of Medicine and being inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, he completed his residency training at the Emory University Eye Center in Atlanta, GA.
He has published several articles with a focus on cataract surgery and LASIK/refractive surgery. Dr. Tucker has presented at several national meetings including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons on topics including lens selection for cataract surgery and femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery.
Dr. Tucker believes in developing strong relationships with his patients via education and considers it an honor to provide compassionate, high-quality, and individualized care.
In his free time, Dr. Tucker enjoys spending time with his wife and their two young children. His interests include running, biking, tennis, playing the piano, and being involved in the community.
